Consultant Neurologist – Comprehensive Brain & Nerve Care

About the role

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its neurological services and seeks a Consultant Neurologist. The role offers strong clinical exposure, multidisciplinary teamwork and the chance to work with modern diagnostic and treatment infrastructure serving a diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients with stroke, epilepsy, headache, movement disorders and neurodegenerative diseases.
• Perform comprehensive neurological examinations and interpret neuroimaging, EEG and nerve conduction studies.
• Develop personalised treatment plans, including medication, rehabilitation and long‑term care.
• Handle acute neurological presentations and coordinate inpatient, emergency or specialist referrals.
• Collaborate with neurosurgery, neuroradiology, rehabilitation, psychiatry and internal medicine teams.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options and prognosis.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Required profile

• Internationally trained consultant neurologist with recognised specialist qualification (e.g., American Board, UK CCT/MRCP, European Board, Royal College Canada, Australian FRACP, Arab Board, MD/DM/DNB/FCPS).
• Experience in managing a broad spectrum of neurological conditions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
