Consultant Neurologist – UAE

About the role

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the United Arab Emirates is expanding its neurological services. The organisation seeks an experienced Consultant Neurologist to join a multidisciplinary team delivering high‑quality care to a diverse, international patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage a wide spectrum of neurological conditions in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Provide expert care for stroke, epilepsy, headaches, movement disorders, neuromuscular diseases, multiple sclerosis and other complex disorders.
• Develop individualized diagnostic and treatment plans based on clinical assessment and investigations.
• Interpret neuro‑imaging and electrophysiology studies and coordinate further diagnostic tests as needed.
• Collaborate closely with neurosurgery, neuroradiology, rehabilitation, emergency medicine and other specialties to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Offer counselling to patients and families, maintain accurate clinical records, and contribute to quality‑improvement and patient‑safety initiatives.

Required profile

• Internationally recognised specialist qualification in Neurology (e.g., American Board, UK CCT/MRCP, European Board, Arab Board, MD/DNB/FCPS, Royal College, Canadian or Australian certification).
• Eligibility to practice in the UAE and a valid medical licence.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary, patient‑centred environment.
