Consultant Neurosurgeon – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced Consultant Neurosurgeon to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Dubai. The successful candidate will lead the diagnosis, treatment and surgical management of complex neurological conditions, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of neurological and neurosurgical conditions, including brain tumours, spinal disorders, traumatic brain injuries and cerebrovascular diseases.
• Interpret MRI, CT, angiography and neurophysiological studies to establish accurate diagnoses.
• Perform complex neurosurgical procedures on the brain, spine, skull base, peripheral nerves and cerebrovascular system.
• Manage emergency neurosurgical cases such as intracranial haemorrhages and spinal cord injuries.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that combine surgical and non‑surgical approaches.
• Provide pre‑operative consultation, surgical planning, informed consent and post‑operative care.
• Collaborate closely with neurologists, orthopaedic surgeons, intensivists, radiologists, anaesthesiologists and rehabilitation specialists.
• Supervise patients in intensive‑care settings after major procedures.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, risks and recovery expectations.
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with DHA regulations and participate in research, audits and teaching activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 96 months (8 years) of neurosurgical experience.
• Proven ability to perform complex and minimally invasive neurosurgical procedures.
• Experience managing emergency neurosurgical cases.
• Strong multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
