Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist

About the role

Sheikh Khalifa Medical City Ajman is looking for a highly skilled Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist to join its multidisciplinary team. You will deliver comprehensive diagnostic, medical and surgical care for women across all age groups, ensuring safe maternal and fetal outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert obstetric care including antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal services.
• Manage a wide range of gynaecological disorders and perform appropriate surgical procedures.
• Deliver high‑quality outpatient and inpatient care with individualized treatment plans.
• Interpret diagnostic tests, monitor patient progress and ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to offer comprehensive women’s health services.
• Supervise and mentor junior medical staff.
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with clinical standards.
• Participate in on‑call duties, quality improvement initiatives and continuous professional development.

Required profile

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Completed Obstetrics & Gynaecology residency and board certification.
• Minimum 5 years post‑certification experience as a Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
• Licensure to practice in the UAE (MOH, DHA or relevant authority).
• Strong clinical, communication and leadership abilities.
