Consultant Obstetrics Gynecology

About the role

A well‑established group of hospitals and clinics in Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly skilled Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynecology. The role involves delivering comprehensive women’s health services within a multidisciplinary team, supporting both inpatient deliveries and outpatient care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert obstetric and gynecological consultations, diagnoses, and treatments.
• Perform and support a range of gynecological procedures in accordance with local regulations.
• Collaborate with medical, nursing, and allied health professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
• Apply evidence‑based medicine and modern treatment approaches.
• Educate and counsel patients on treatment plans and health options.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and continuous professional development.

Required profile

• Medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Board certification or equivalent Western qualification in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Valid Department of Health (DoH) license or eligibility as a Specialist/Consultant.
• Proven experience in a JCIA‑accredited hospital in Abu Dhabi.
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing a busy outpatient volume (25+ patients per day).
