Consultant Oncology & Hematology

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Consultant in Oncology & Hematology to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The role involves delivering comprehensive, patient‑centered cancer care, overseeing diagnosis, treatment planning, and long‑term management of both solid tumours and haematological malignancies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consultation, diagnosis, treatment and long‑term management for oncological and haematological patients, including solid tumours and blood disorders.
• Prescribe and supervise chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy and hormonal therapy, monitoring response and managing complications.
• Interpret laboratory and imaging investigations, perform or supervise bone‑marrow aspiration/biopsy, and coordinate supportive care and transfusion therapy.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumour boards, mentor junior staff, and contribute to clinical audits, research and teaching activities.

Required profile

• MBBS/MD with recognised postgraduate qualification in Medical Oncology and Hematology.
• Board certification or equivalent consultant qualification, with 5‑10 years post‑specialisation experience.
• Eligible for DHA Consultant licence in Dubai and able to obtain necessary clinical privileges.
• Strong clinical judgement, leadership and communication skills.

Required skills

• Administration of systemic anticancer therapies (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, hormonal therapy).
• Interpretation of haematology and pathology investigations, including blood counts, bone‑marrow studies and molecular diagnostics.
• Performance or supervision of bone‑marrow aspiration and biopsy procedures.
