About the role

Provide patient‑centric, evidence‑based consultant‑level care while adhering to ethical and professional standards set by Mediclinic and UAE regulators. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality clinical services to paediatric gastroenterology patients.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, ethical clinical services to patients efficiently.
• Monitor and manage clinical risks associated with direct patient care.
• Ensure compliance with clinical governance and quality management standards.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Promote continuous professional development for self and colleagues.
• Uphold integrity by executing clinical services responsibly.

Required profile

• Basic medical degree with a recognised fellowship or diploma in paediatric gastroenterology approved by UAE authorities.
• Certification and registration in the specialty recognised by the UAE healthcare authority.
• Active life‑support certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP).
• 3‑5 years post‑qualification experience at consultant level, independent of country.
• Preferably at least 1 year consultant experience from a Tier 1 country as defined by UAE regulators.

Required skills

• Proficiency in an electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Knowledge of clinical audit standards and processes.
