Consultant Pain Medicine Physician – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Pain Medicine physician to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The role focuses on comprehensive assessment and multidisciplinary management of acute, chronic, neuropathic, musculoskeletal, and cancer‑related pain, with a strong emphasis on interventional procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose and develop individualized, evidence‑based pain‑management plans for diverse patient populations.
• Perform image‑guided interventional pain procedures such as nerve blocks, epidural injections, facet joint interventions, and radiofrequency ablations.
• Manage complex and refractory pain conditions, collaborating with anesthesiologists, neurologists, surgeons, physiotherapists, psychologists and other specialists.
• Provide peri‑operative and acute pain management when required and support multidisciplinary rehabilitation programs.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, ensure compliance with patient‑safety standards, and participate in audits, research and education activities.

Required profile

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Pain Medicine, Anesthesiology or a related specialty.
• Board certification or equivalent specialist/consultant qualification and eligibility for DHA Consultant licence.
• Minimum 5‑10 years post‑specialisation experience in Pain Medicine with extensive interventional practice.
• Strong clinical, communication and patient‑management skills.
