Consultant Pain Medicine – UAE

About the role

A leading internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its multidisciplinary pain management services. The role offers an experienced Consultant Pain Medicine specialist the opportunity to work in a modern, quality‑driven environment serving a diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and manage acute, chronic, cancer‑related, neuropathic and musculoskeletal pain.
• Perform image‑guided pain procedures such as nerve blocks, epidural injections, radiofrequency ablation and joint interventions.
• Develop multimodal pain management plans that incorporate medication optimisation, rehabilitation, psychological support and lifestyle interventions.
• Coordinate care with orthopaedics, neurology, oncology, rheumatology and rehabilitation teams.
• Educate patients on long‑term pain management, functional restoration and safe use of analgesics.

Required profile

• Internationally trained Consultant Pain Medicine specialist with recognized board certification or equivalent qualification.
• Strong clinical judgement, commitment to evidence‑based practice and patient safety.
• Excellent communication skills for culturally diverse patients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to adapt to UAE licensing, documentation standards and hospital governance.
