Consultant Pediatric ENT Specialist

About the role

A leading hospital in Dubai is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Pediatric ENT to provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for infants, children and adolescents. The consultant works with a multidisciplinary team in a family-centered approach.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose and manage pediatric ear, nose and throat conditions, including recurrent ear infections, hearing loss, tonsillitis, adenoid disease, sinus disorders, airway abnormalities, sleep-disordered breathing, speech and swallowing disorders and congenital ENT conditions.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures such as endoscopy, audiological assessments and imaging.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using medical and surgical approaches.
• Perform pediatric ENT surgeries such as tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, ventilation tube insertion and airway surgery.
• Advise pediatricians, neonatologists and other specialists on complex ENT cases.
• Maintain accurate medical records and take part in multidisciplinary meetings, quality improvement, teaching and clinical research.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Specialty training in Otolaryngology (ENT) with subspecialty training or fellowship in Pediatric ENT.
• Western-trained education and/or clinical experience (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or equivalent) is mandatory.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Consultant Pediatric ENT in a reputable tertiary care hospital.
• Valid DHA, DOH or MOH consultant license.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication and teamwork skills.
