Consultant Physician – Oral & Maxillofacial (OMF)

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Consultant Physician specialized in Oral & Maxillofacial (OMF) to deliver primary and specialized care to patients with injuries, illnesses, and oral health disorders. The role involves comprehensive patient assessment, treatment planning, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Examine patients, take detailed medical histories, and address their concerns.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of injuries, illnesses, and oral-maxillofacial disorders.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, communicating results clearly to patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications or therapies.
• Provide counseling on diet, hygiene, preventive health, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records.
• Explain medical procedures and treatment options to patients and families.
• Collaborate with other physicians, refer to specialists when needed, and work closely with nursing and support staff.
• Adhere to medical regulations and confidentiality standards such as HIPAA.

Required profile

• Medical degree with completed residency and internship in a relevant specialty.
• Valid state license and certification to practice medicine.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in diagnosing and treating diverse medical conditions.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Leadership, organizational, and detail‑oriented skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to continuous learning.
