Consultant Radiation Oncologist – Abu Dhabi

About the role

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its radiotherapy services and seeks a Consultant Radiation Oncologist. The role offers strong clinical exposure, multidisciplinary teamwork, and the chance to work with modern, quality‑driven infrastructure serving a diverse international patient base.

Key responsibilities

• Assess oncology patients and determine radiotherapy indications within multidisciplinary care plans.
• Develop treatment plans using techniques such as IMRT, VMAT, IGRT, SBRT or brachytherapy.
• Coordinate simulation, contouring, dose prescription, plan review and on‑treatment assessments.
• Manage radiation side effects, provide supportive care and conduct survivorship follow‑up.
• Participate in tumour boards with medical oncology, surgery, radiology, pathology and palliative care.
• Maintain radiation safety, documentation, consent and quality‑assurance standards.

Required profile

• Internationally recognised specialist qualification (e.g., American Board, UK CCT/FRCR, European specialist, Royal College Canada, FRANZCR, Arab Board, MD/DNB/FCPS).
• Eligibility for UAE medical licensing and facility credentialing.
• Experience in advanced radiotherapy planning and delivery.
