Consultant Radiation Oncologist – UAE

About the role

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the United Arab Emirates is expanding its advanced radiotherapy and multidisciplinary cancer care services. The organization seeks a Consultant Radiation Oncologist to join a modern, quality‑driven clinical team serving a diverse, international patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Assess oncology patients and determine radiotherapy indications within multidisciplinary care plans.
• Develop and oversee treatment plans using IMRT, VMAT, IGRT, SBRT or brachytherapy techniques.
• Coordinate simulation, contouring, dose prescription, treatment planning review and on‑treatment assessments.
• Manage radiation‑related side effects, supportive care and survivorship follow‑up.
• Participate in tumour board meetings with medical oncology, surgery, radiology, pathology and palliative care teams.
• Maintain radiation safety standards, clinical documentation, informed consent and quality‑assurance practices.

Required profile

• Internationally trained Consultant Radiation Oncologist with recognised specialist qualification (e.g., American Board of Radiology, UK CCT/FRCR, European Board, Royal College Canada, Australian FRANZCR, Arab Board, MD/DNB/FCPS).
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary oncology environment.
• Eligibility to practice in the UAE or ability to obtain necessary licensure.
• Willingness to serve a diverse patient base across the Middle East and beyond.
