Consultant Radiologist (PET-CT)

About the role

A prestigious tertiary‑care hospital in Saudi Arabia is looking for a Consultant Radiologist with deep expertise in PET‑CT imaging. The role involves interpreting complex hybrid scans, supporting oncological, neurological and cardiology diagnostics, and contributing to multidisciplinary clinical and academic activities.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret PET‑CT, SPECT/CT and diagnostic CT studies for oncology, neurology and cardiology cases.
• Collaborate with oncologists, neurologists, surgeons and other specialists for diagnosis, staging and treatment planning.
• Supervise nuclear medicine technologists and junior radiologists, ensuring adherence to radiation safety and SCFHS standards.
• Participate in tumor boards, clinical audits, quality‑improvement projects and research initiatives.
• Maintain accurate, timely reports using PACS and RIS systems.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with a residency in Radiology.
• Fellowship or subspecialty training in PET‑CT/Nuclear Medicine Imaging.
• Board‑certified (American Board, UK CCT, Canadian FRCP or equivalent).
• Minimum 3–5 years post‑fellowship experience in PET‑CT interpretation.
• Eligible for Consultant classification by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
