Consultant Rheumatologist – Competitive Package in UAE

About the role

A leading internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its autoimmune and inflammatory joint disease services. The position offers an internationally trained Consultant Rheumatologist the chance to work in a modern, quality‑driven environment serving a diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage inflammatory arthritis, connective‑tissue diseases, vasculitis, gout, osteoporosis and other autoimmune disorders.
• Prescribe, monitor and adjust DMARDs, biologic therapies, immunosuppressants and infusion treatments safely.
• Perform joint assessments, injections and musculoskeletal ultrasound within scope of practice.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care with nephrology, dermatology, pulmonology, ophthalmology, orthopaedics and physiotherapy teams.
• Educate patients on disease management, medication safety, lifestyle modifications and flare handling.
• Contribute to clinical registries, audits, safety monitoring and evidence‑based protocol development.

• Strong clinical judgement with a commitment to evidence‑based practice and patient safety.
• Excellent communication skills for culturally diverse patients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to adapt to UAE healthcare regulations, documentation standards and hospital governance.
