Consultant Surgical Oncologist – Advanced Cancer Surgery

About the role

SearchPlus HR is seeking a highly qualified Consultant Surgical Oncologist to join a leading healthcare institution in Dubai. The role involves delivering advanced surgical care for patients with complex oncological conditions and collaborating within multidisciplinary cancer teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized surgical treatment plans.
• Perform complex and minimally invasive oncological procedures across gastrointestinal, breast, hepatobiliary, colorectal and other cancer specialties.
• Provide pre‑operative, intra‑operative and post‑operative care, managing complications and ensuring optimal recovery.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor board meetings and coordinate with medical, radiation, and pathology specialists.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to patient safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• American Board, UK CCT, or equivalent Western postgraduate qualification in Surgical Oncology or a related surgical specialty.
• Minimum 5 years of post‑specialisation experience in surgical oncology.
• Proven track record in complex cancer surgeries and comprehensive patient management.
• Strong clinical decision‑making and peri‑operative management abilities.
