Consultant Urologist

About the role

Ain Al Khaleej Hospital in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced, DOH-licensed Consultant Urologist with strong surgical expertise and a comprehensive operative logbook. The position reports to the Medical Director and covers diagnostic, medical and surgical urological care.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic urological conditions
• Perform endoscopic, laparoscopic and open urological procedures
• Manage urinary stones, prostate disorders, urinary tract conditions and urological emergencies
• Provide inpatient, outpatient, emergency and post-operative care
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation in line with DOH and hospital standards
• Supervise junior physicians and take part in on-call duties
• Contribute to quality improvement and clinical education

Required profile

• MD in Urology; board certification preferred
• Valid DOH license or eligibility as Consultant Urologist
• Minimum 15 years of post-specialization experience as Consultant Urologist
• Extensive experience in general urology, endourology, urinary stone management and urological surgery
• Tertiary hospital experience preferred
• Willingness to live in Al Ain

• Ability to perform a broad range of urological procedures independently
• Proficiency in EMR systems
• Leadership, mentoring and teaching abilities
