Consultant Urologist - Western Qualification

About the role

A leading private hospital in the UAE is seeking an experienced Consultant Urologist to deliver comprehensive urological care for adult patients. The role involves diagnosing and managing a wide range of urological conditions, performing advanced surgical procedures, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat common and complex urological conditions, including urinary stones, BPH, infections and urological cancers.
• Perform elective and emergency urological surgeries, including endoscopic, minimally invasive and robotic procedures where trained.
• Provide pre‑operative, operative and post‑operative care, and interpret relevant laboratory and imaging investigations.
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, oncologists, nephrologists, pathologists and other specialists.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to patient‑safety and infection‑control standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality‑improvement initiatives, teaching and continuous professional development.

Required profile

• Medical degree with a recognized Western postgraduate qualification in Urology (e.g., UK CCT/CCST, American Board, Canadian, Australian, New Zealand, Irish).
• Consultant‑level experience in general and complex urology, preferably in a tertiary or leading private hospital.
• Strong clinical and surgical decision‑making abilities, excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to evidence‑based practice, patient safety and ongoing professional development.
