About the role

A leading multispecialty hospital in Dubai is expanding its Orthopedic Department and seeks a Consultant/Specialist Orthopedic Surgeon. The role involves delivering high‑quality orthopedic care in a modern, tax‑free environment, serving a diverse international patient base.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions affecting bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, and muscles.
• Perform elective and emergency orthopedic surgeries, including joint replacements, fracture fixation, and arthroscopic procedures.
• Evaluate and treat trauma patients, managing fractures, dislocations, and soft‑tissue injuries.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that combine surgical and conservative approaches.
• Conduct pre‑operative assessments and postoperative follow‑ups to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation specialists for comprehensive patient care.
• Manage chronic orthopedic conditions such as osteoarthritis, spine disorders, and sports injuries.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic imaging (X‑ray, MRI, CT) for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Provide patient education on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and recovery processes.

Required profile

• Board‑certified orthopedic surgeon with a minimum of 3 years post‑specialist experience.
• Proven experience in both elective and emergency orthopedic surgeries.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team in a multispecialty hospital setting.
