Continuous Performance Testing and Warranty Period Manager

About the role

SEGULA Technologies is seeking a senior professional to lead continuous performance testing and warranty management for a confidential independent power producer (IPP) project in Dubai. The role is semi‑permanent, covering the warranty and defects liability period, and focuses on ensuring plant performance meets contractual guarantees.

Key responsibilities

• Manage technical follow‑up during the warranty/defects liability period.
• Monitor plant performance, reliability, availability, and guarantee parameters.
• Coordinate continuous performance testing, warranty inspections, and site visits (periodic and emergency).
• Review test results, operational data, O&M records, defect reports, and corrective action plans.
• Track warranty claims, recurring failures, punch‑list items, and outstanding technical issues.
• Collaborate with client, operator, EPC contractor, OEMs, and Owner’s Engineer specialists.
• Prepare warranty reports, performance summaries, risk registers, and technical recommendations.
• Support dispute, claim, or technical assessment matters related to performance deficiencies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Process, I&C or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in power generation, commissioning, performance testing, operations, warranty management or plant reliability.
• Strong background with performance guarantees, reliability testing, capacity testing, COD/PAC/FAC processes, and defects liability management.
• Experience in waste‑to‑energy, biogas, landfill gas, thermal power, utilities or IPP projects is highly preferred.
