Contract General Manager - Integrated Facilities Management

About the role

An experienced Contract General Manager is sought to lead the overall performance and integrated delivery of a large-scale facilities management contract or portfolio. The role covers estates and property management, hard and soft facilities management, maintenance, asset and lifecycle management, general and security services, commercial performance, client relationships, people leadership, QHSE, risk and continuous improvement. The successful candidate is accountable for service delivery against contractual SLAs and KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation and overall performance of the contract/portfolio and ensure delivery against contractual obligations, SLAs, KPIs, quality standards and client expectations.
• Act as the senior point of contact for the client and manage key stakeholders, consultants, authorities and service partners.
• Oversee estates, property, asset, lifecycle and facilities-management activities, including hard services (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire & life safety) and soft services (cleaning, waste management, pest control, hygiene).
• Hold accountability for contract P&L, budgets, forecasts, cost control and profitability.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, vendors and external service providers, and lead a large, multi-disciplinary workforce.
• Ensure compliance with QHSE, regulatory, contractual, risk, emergency preparedness and information-security requirements.
• Drive service improvement, innovation, change management and operational efficiency, and prepare reports for senior stakeholders.
• Support contract growth, variations and profitability improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related discipline; professional FM or relevant technical certification preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Facilities Management / Integrated Services with substantial management responsibility, and minimum 5 years managing multi-disciplinary managers and teams.
• Proven experience managing large-scale facilities or complex service contracts.
• Good knowledge of UAE statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Preferred: experience in large-scale IFM, Total Facilities Management, Critical Facilities, Government / Institutional Facilities, Commercial Real Estate, Large Estates or Multi-Site Operations.
