Contract Manager – Luxury Residential Projects

About the role

Khatib & Alami is looking for an experienced Contract Manager to lead both pre‑contract and post‑contract activities on luxury residential buildings, high‑end villas and premium developments in Dubai. The role requires deep knowledge of FIDIC contracts and UAE construction practices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead tendering and pre‑contract activities: prepare tender documents, BOQs, specifications and evaluate contractor bids.
• Manage contract administration from award to project completion: handle variations, claims, extensions of time, payment applications and final accounts.
• Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks, advise clients on procurement strategy and contract strategy.
• Support cost planning, procurement strategy, tender analysis and contract negotiations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 12+ years of contracts/commercial management experience, with strong Dubai/UAE project background.
• Proven experience on luxury residential buildings, high‑end villas and high‑rise residential projects.
• Professional certification such as MRICS (or equivalent) highly preferred.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
