Contracts Manager – Gulf Services

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to support our business throughout the tendering and project execution lifecycle, ensuring contractual excellence, risk mitigation and compliance while driving best practices across Schneider Electric.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate main contractual documents with Tender and Sales teams, collaborating with internal SMEs.
• Monitor contractual commitments such as coming‑into‑force dates, liabilities, claims and variation orders.
• Review and highlight key contractual and operational risks to ensure compliance with Schneider Electric policies.
• Perform contract reviews, including terms and conditions, in consultation with Legal and the Solution Risk Manager.
• Conduct GAP analysis of final contracts against approved mandates.
• Support project managers on contractual matters with customers and subcontractors, including drafting correspondence.
• Assist in CPP change‑order and claim management, and help defend claims such as liquidated damages or standby costs.
• Advise on suspension notices and recommend strategies to optimise compensation in case of suspension or termination.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in contract management within a project environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, International Trade or Law.
• Contract Management Certification or equivalent.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
