Coordinator – Maternity and Childcare Services

About the role

The Maternity Coordinator will manage the complete patient journey for maternity services, from enrollment in maternity packages through antenatal care, delivery, and post‑natal follow‑up. Acting as the primary point of contact, the coordinator ensures seamless coordination across clinical, administrative, finance and insurance teams while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for maternity patients, handling registrations, appointments, follow‑ups and patient inquiries.
• Guide patients on package inclusions, exclusions, payment processes and available services.
• Schedule consultations, ultrasounds, lab tests, antenatal classes and post‑natal appointments, and conduct regular follow‑up calls.
• Monitor package enrolment, utilisation and conversion rates, and maintain accurate tracking of service consumption.
• Coordinate with finance and insurance on billing and payment queries.
• Collaborate closely with obstetrics & gynaecology consultants, nursing staff, midwives and ancillary departments to ensure smooth communication.
• Escalate patient concerns to appropriate departments for timely resolution and support physicians with appointment management.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, address complaints promptly and support VIP patients when required.
• Prepare regular reports on package enrolment, deliveries, utilisation, patient satisfaction and revenue performance.
• Participate in quality improvement projects, departmental audits and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, hospital administration, business administration, nursing, allied health sciences or a related healthcare field.
