Corporate Affairs Senior Specialist – Regulatory & Government Affairs

About the role

Philip Morris International is seeking a Senior Specialist to strengthen its Corporate Affairs team in the Middle East. The role focuses on regulatory policy, government affairs and stakeholder engagement to support the company’s smoke‑free transformation across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Support government affairs and stakeholder engagement strategies aligned with business priorities.
• Build and maintain relationships with government officials, regulators, policymakers, trade associations and key external stakeholders.
• Coordinate engagement initiatives and represent PMI at relevant external forums.
• Monitor regulatory, legislative and public‑policy developments, assess business impact and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal, regional and global teams to develop advocacy positions and stakeholder engagement plans.
• Gather regulatory intelligence, benchmark international frameworks and identify opportunities to improve market access.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Policy, International Relations, Economics, Law, Business, Science or a related field.
• 4‑6 years of experience in Government Affairs, Public Policy, Regulatory Affairs, Corporate Affairs or External Affairs, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and policy environments across the GCC.
• Fluent Arabic and English (spoken and written).
