Corporate Governance & KYC Officer

About the role

This position supports board and committee governance for a leading international energy and commodities trading organisation. The officer will maintain governance frameworks, manage documentation, produce high‑quality minutes and ensure accountability across the trading business.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate board and committee meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, track actions and follow‑up.
• Maintain and enhance corporate governance frameworks, policies and procedures aligned with business objectives.
• Prepare governance reports and management information for internal stakeholders and committees.
• Monitor compliance with governance processes, ensuring documentation, approvals and records are accurate.
• Support governance‑related due diligence and KYC activities across multiple jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, finance and commercial teams to embed governance requirements into transaction approvals and corporate initiatives.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in corporate governance, company secretarial, legal operations or compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Governance, Compliance or a related discipline.
• Proven experience supporting boards, committees and executive stakeholders with governance reporting.
• Strong documentation, policy review, drafting and minute‑taking skills with excellent written English.
• Resilient, organised and confident when engaging senior stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment.
