Corporate Tax Associate

About the role

Play a key role in implementing corporate tax strategies, projects, and ensuring tax compliance within Aldar Group’s corporate tax function. The position also provides M&A support and expertise from a corporate tax perspective, and is open only to UAE nationals.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the AVP – Corporate Tax and wider tax team to execute comprehensive corporate tax strategies aligned with group objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in reviewing monthly tax provision calculations, reconciling them to the ledger.
• Participate in the end‑to‑end annual corporate tax compliance process, ensuring accurate and timely filing of all tax returns.
• Conduct detailed reviews of deferred tax calculations for the group, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Lead transfer pricing initiatives, ensuring compliance with international guidelines and recommending strategies to optimise the company’s global tax position.
• Provide tax expertise during mergers, acquisitions, and corporate transactions, including due diligence, structuring, and post‑transaction integration.
• Assist in Country‑by‑Country Reporting, Pillar 2 and Transfer Pricing initiatives in Direct/Corporate Tax.
• Support Economic Substance Regulations compliance and offer guidance on cross‑border tax matters, including international tax planning and treaty analysis.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 + years of experience in accounting, mergers and acquisitions, or consultancy.
• Experience in the real‑estate industry.
• Knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws and regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
