Corporate Tax & International Tax Manager

About the role

The Tax Manager will lead UAE Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing and BEPS Pillar Two compliance for Mashreq’s UAE entity and its overseas group entities. The role ensures full alignment with UAE Corporate Tax Law, OECD BEPS framework and group tax governance while advising senior management on tax risk, structuring and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage UAE Corporate Tax compliance, including return preparation, taxable income calculations and reconciliation of accounting profit to taxable profit.
• Interpret and operationalise UAE Corporate Tax Law, related decisions and guidance, and assess tax impact of new business models or organisational changes.
• Oversee Transfer Pricing compliance for the group, preparing and reviewing Master File, Local File and Country‑by‑Country Reporting in line with OECD guidelines.
• Conduct BEPS Pillar Two impact assessments, collect data from overseas entities and coordinate preparation of global minimum tax calculations and reports.
• Prepare monthly tax provisions, technical position papers and executive summaries for CFO, Head of Tax and audit committees.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or related field with a professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent).
• Minimum 6 years of progressive tax experience in banking or financial services, including corporate tax, transfer pricing and BEPS Pillar Two.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Corporate Income Tax legislation and practical experience applying the regulations.
• In‑depth understanding of OECD BEPS Pillar Two framework and related reporting obligations.
