Cost Accountant – Inventory Control

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is looking for a Cost Accountant to join its Inventory Control team. The role will manage inventory transactions, perform cost variance analysis, and produce regular cost reports to support operational decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Track and validate inventory receipts, transfers and returns, ensuring accurate journal entries.
• Perform cost variance analysis, investigate discrepancies and maintain costing records.
• Prepare daily and monthly inventory and cost reports and support budgeting and forecasting.
• Assist with accruals, reconciliations and internal/external audit documentation.
• Collaborate with receiving, stores, procurement and F&B teams on costing practices and recipe costing.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of cost accounting or inventory control experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Proficiency with ERP and inventory systems such as Oracle or BirchStreet.
• Strong Excel and data‑analysis capabilities.
