Cost Controller

About the role

We are looking for a Cost Controller to monitor and control food and beverage costs across all outlets of our 5‑star hotel in Dubai. You will work closely with Finance, Purchasing, Stores, Culinary and F&B Operations to ensure profitability and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control food and beverage costs across all outlets.
• Conduct regular inventory and stock counts, investigate variances and prepare daily, weekly and monthly cost reports.
• Manage recipe, menu and beverage costing, comparing theoretical versus actual costs.
• Monitor purchasing prices, receiving, stock transfers, wastage and stock adjustments.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and support outlet profitability.
• Ensure compliance with financial controls and hotel policies, and support budgeting, forecasting and month‑end closing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3–5 years of F&B cost control experience in a 5‑star hotel or luxury hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of food & beverage costing, inventory and purchasing controls.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with financial management software and inventory systems such as Futurelog and Opera.
