Cost Manager

About the role

Currie & Brown is seeking a Cost Manager with strong procurement experience to join its Abu Dhabi team. The role supports project leaders by delivering high‑quality cost advice, ensuring successful project outcomes, and fostering knowledge sharing across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate cost advice and reporting to clients.
• Deliver projects, commissions and professional assignments on time.
• Maintain effective communication and ensure all information needed for project completion is available.
• Liaise with other managers to achieve efficient financial control.
• Undertake cost management services as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Support team and service leaders in the cost management of projects.
• Represent the company professionally and build strong client relationships.

Required profile

• BSc in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification.
• Previous procurement experience (essential).
• Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) – preferred but not essential.
• Technical delivery experience within a global consultancy.
• Experience working in the Middle East.
• Comfortable in a client‑facing role.
• Well‑organised, diligent, proactive, assertive and commercially astute.
