Counter Services Specialist – Dubai Mall Branch

About the role

The Counter Services Specialist will perform all financial transactions at the Dubai Mall branch in a risk‑free manner while maintaining high service standards. The role ensures compliance with policies, minimizes operational losses, and steps in for the Customer Service Manager when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Manage cash‑counter transactions for a branch serving over 7,000 customers with AED 100M in assets and AED 200M in liabilities.
• Process all counter transactions accurately, swiftly, and in line with established procedures.
• Reduce customer waiting and service times through efficient transaction handling.
• Maintain zero cash differences by diligent processing and vigilant fraud detection.
• Provide continuous feedback and seek supervisor approval for any irregular or suspicious transactions.
• Adhere to transaction limits, override approvals, and conduct thorough investigations of any cash or security item discrepancies.
• Ensure accurate delivery and receipt of cash to/from customers at all times.
• Assist the CSM with day‑to‑day transactional and branch activities and implement policy changes from Head Office.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of experience as a teller or in a similar banking counter role.
• UAE national status (mandatory).
• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to handle pressure and maintain attention to detail.
• Demonstrated integrity and compliance with audit and security standards.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of counter‑related processes and procedures.
• Basic accounting and reporting knowledge.
