Country Head – Gulf Region

About the role

Sandoz, the global leader in biosimilar and generic medicines, is looking for a Country Head for the Gulf region. The role leads the overall performance of the country or cluster organization, working with global and regional leaders to deliver sales and profits within agreed budgets and to build a focused, lean and responsive organization aligned with the global vision.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the competitive DA/asset strategy and the country's product portfolio, maximizing patient impact
• Define and communicate the business vision and strategy for the DA/asset, including early brand strategies until handover to International
• Develop the DA/asset pipeline and portfolio, supporting key launches and resource management
• Shape market-relevant assets to become Standard of Care (with a focus on the US)
• Contribute to decisions on joint ventures, in-licensing agreements and other business relationships
• As Country President (if applicable), foster collaboration across business units and maintain Sandoz' reputation, including the political and legislative environment
• Drive talent acquisition, succession planning and development, and build a customer-focused, excellence-oriented culture
