Credit Analyst – UAE Nationals Only

About the role

The Credit Analyst will join ADIB Group’s Credit Department in Dubai, providing on‑the‑job training while supporting credit analysis activities. The role focuses on preparing credit approval packages, conducting financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with the bank’s risk policies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Relationship Managers (RMs) and Assistant Relationship Managers (ARMs) in preparing credit approval packages, AC memos, and Credit Round Table discussion materials.
• Prepare spreadsheets, perform financial analysis and basic financial modeling to evaluate credit applications.
• Conduct market checks, monitor obligor creditworthiness, and search for negative press or rating agency updates.
• Liaise with Risk, Legal, and Sharia departments to address queries, secure necessary documentation, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain and reconcile credit files, track review dates, and ensure timely renewal or deferment of facilities.
• Adhere to key performance indicators such as turnaround time, package quality, and review schedules.

Required profile

• UAE national with a degree in finance, economics, business or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work collaboratively with RMs, Risk, Legal and other stakeholders.
• Good understanding of business, finance, economics and current affairs.
