Credit Control Executive

About the role

DHL Express, a global leader in express logistics, is seeking a Credit Control Executive for its Dubai operations. The role involves actively managing and coordinating credit collection for an assigned portfolio of customers, ensuring adherence to DHL trading terms and driving timely, professional collections.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and ensure DHL trading terms and conditions are adhered to by customers.
• Maximize collection effectiveness and maintain efficient records of collection activities.
• Drive debt collection, including customer visits when necessary.
• Coordinate resolution of sales and customs disputes according to escalation procedures.
• Identify cheque and electronic bank transfer allocation issues and coordinate rectification.
• Monitor credit accounts, report delinquent customers to the Team Leader, and manage credit limits.
• Prepare and execute dunning runs, credit holds, outsourced collection, and debt recovery referrals.
• Coordinate master data, billing and collection issue resolution with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Good telephone conversation and handling skills.
• Effective communication and conversational abilities.
• High customer focus and service orientation.
• Advanced MS Office knowledge.
• Intermediate presentation skills.
• Previous collection experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Accounts.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, international environment.
