Credit Control Manager

About the role

The company is a leading and well‑established group in the UAE seeking an experienced Credit Control Manager to lead the credit control and collections function. You will be responsible for overseeing the receivables portfolio, ensuring timely collection, and minimizing financial risk across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Credit Control and Collections function, developing and implementing effective policies and procedures.
• Monitor the overall accounts receivable portfolio, ageing reports and establish appropriate credit limits and payment terms.
• Ensure timely collection of outstanding balances, reduce overdue receivables and negotiate payment plans for high‑value accounts.
• Work closely with Sales, Aftersales, Operations and Finance teams to resolve disputes and improve cash flow.
• Prepare regular credit control, ageing, collection and cash‑flow reports for senior management and analyse performance trends.
• Lead, coach and develop the credit control team to achieve collection targets and continuously improve processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• 7–10 years of experience in credit control, accounts receivable or collections, with previous managerial responsibility.
• UAE experience strongly preferred; automotive industry experience is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment, customer credit exposure and ageing analysis.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Advanced MS Excel.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems.
