Credit Risk Manager – Leasing & In‑house Finance

About the role

The Credit Risk Manager will lead the assessment and management of credit risk for both leasing and in‑house finance activities within Al‑Futtaim’s automotive divisions. Reporting to senior risk leadership, the role combines portfolio analysis, framework development and underwriting to ensure sound credit decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct credit risk assessments for leasing and in‑house finance products.
• Support the creation and renewal of a comprehensive Credit Risk Framework, including policy guidelines.
• Analyse underwritten portfolios and collections data to identify trends and risks.
• Develop and maintain risk‑reporting dashboards for multiple segments and countries.
• Monitor key credit risk metrics such as product performance, channel exceptions and vintage trends.
• Document performance against risk thresholds and recommend improvements.
• Underwrite lease applications for individuals (up to 2 units) and corporates (up to 30 units) as required.

Required profile

• UAE national with a strong background in credit risk within automotive or financial services.
• Proven experience in portfolio analytics, risk reporting and policy development.
• Ability to work collaboratively with underwriting, collections and senior management teams.
