Crew Scheduler (UAE Nationals Only)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Crew Scheduler to join Etihad Airways’ Operations Team in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on managing crew activities to ensure safe, efficient and reliable flight operations, supporting the airline’s network across the globe.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily crew operations to maintain uninterrupted flight schedules.
• Identify potential disruptions to crew rosters and implement contingency plans.
• Ensure compliance with Civil Aviation Regulations, company policies and operating manuals.
• Communicate with flight and cabin crew, providing timely support and guidance.
• Manage crew legality, utilization, fatigue, overtime and operational requirements.
• Utilize standby crew effectively to sustain network reliability.
• Collaborate with Operations Control, Crew Planning, Airport Operations and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate operational records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Diploma, bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in airline operations.
• Good understanding of airline operational procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
