Crisis & Emergency Management Officer

About the role

The Officer, Crisis & Management will lead ADNOC Distribution's emergency and crisis response capabilities. You will develop and maintain comprehensive plans, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure swift recovery from incidents while protecting people, the environment, assets and the company’s reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve emergency and crisis management plans in line with ADNOC HSE standards and corporate strategy.
• Coordinate and conduct emergency response exercises, ensuring tactical teams are prepared and documentation aligns with SOPs.
• Liaise with Civil Defense, firefighting and other external emergency services to secure support and validate response procedures.
• Perform regular inspections and audits of emergency equipment and plans, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Participate in incident investigations, produce detailed reports and recommend remedial actions.
• Design and deliver HSE training programmes, including emergency response drills and on‑the‑job training for response teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in emergency management, risk management, public administration or a related field (MSc a plus).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in crisis management, emergency response or related roles, preferably in oil & gas.
• Strong knowledge of HSE standards, regulations and best practices; ability to conduct risk assessments, audits and investigations.
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English, with proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Professional certifications: Incident Command System (ICS) Level 1 & 2, Business Continuity Associate.
