Crisis Management Officer

About the role

Provide immediate response capability to control and resolve emergency and crisis incidents across ADNOC Distribution, protecting people, environment, assets and reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement emergency and crisis management plans and procedures aligned with ADNOC HSE standards.
• Coordinate testing, maintenance and execution of unified emergency response plans and exercises.
• Liaise with external stakeholders such as Civil Defense, firefighting and emergency services.
• Conduct regular inspections, audits of emergency equipment and ensure plan validity.
• Participate in incident investigations, prepare detailed reports and recommend remedial actions.
• Develop and deliver HSE training programs, emergency response drills and on‑the‑job training for staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in emergency management, risk management, public administration or related field (MSc a plus).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in crisis management or emergency response, preferably in oil and gas.
• Strong knowledge of HSE standards, regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Professional certifications: Incident Command System (ICS) Level 1 & 2, Business Continuity Associate.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with HSE software applications.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments, incident investigations and audits.
