About the role
SEHA Salma Rehabilitation Hospital is looking for an experienced Critical Care Medicine Physician to join its dedicated team in Al Dhafra, Western Region. The role involves providing high‑quality, patient‑centred critical care within a rehabilitation and long‑term care setting.
Key responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose and manage patients requiring intensive medical supervision.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and monitor clinical progress.
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety and continuity.
- Support rehabilitation and long‑term care needs while maintaining high standards of care.
Required profile
- Medical degree with a Master’s or postgraduate qualification in Critical Care Medicine, or an equivalent recognized qualification.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a Critical Care Department; experience in a Long‑Term Care facility is an advantage.
- Valid professional medical license (DoH, DHA, MOH or equivalent) and eligibility to practice in the UAE.
- Strong clinical assessment, decision‑making, communication and teamwork abilities.
