About the role
This position is a research scientist focused on computed tomography (CT) imaging. The role covers developing advanced CT imaging algorithms for future products, improving image quality of current products, and liaising with headquarters engineers in Shanghai.
Key responsibilities
- Develop advanced CT imaging algorithms for future products
- Work on current algorithms to improve the image quality of current products
- Communicate and liaise with headquarters engineers in Shanghai
Required profile
- PhD in Medical Physics, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related field
- Expertise in image reconstruction for transmission tomography
- Solid background in X-ray physics and imaging science
- Excellent interpersonal skills and proficiency in English
Required skills
- C/C++ or other prototyping programming languages
- Preferred: iterative image reconstruction, motion compensation, multi-energy CT imaging, machine learning, image registration, x-ray physics simulation, high-performance computing, medical device regularization
- A strong publication record, including patents, is preferred
