Culinary Instructor – Academy (Full‑Time)

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Culinary Instructor to join its Culinary Academy team. The role involves delivering practical culinary training, demonstrations and workshops that align with the academy curriculum and competency standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct hands‑on training sessions, demonstrations and workshops covering culinary techniques, food safety, equipment use and operational readiness.
• Coach and mentor learners, assess performance through practical evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
• Develop and continuously improve recipes, lesson plans, assessments, checklists and learner resources.
• Maintain a safe, hygienic training environment in compliance with HACCP, allergen and health‑and‑safety standards.
• Manage training records, stock control, resources and stakeholder coordination while contributing to curriculum enhancements and academy events.

Required profile

• 7–10 years progressive culinary experience at Chef de Partie level or higher in luxury hospitality, resort operations or premium restaurants.
• Formal culinary qualification from a recognised institution.
• Proven experience delivering practical training, mentoring junior chefs, apprentices or culinary students.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, allergen controls and kitchen risk awareness.
• Excellent communication, organisational and Microsoft Office skills.
