Customer Care Associate – Medical Centre

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Care Associate to join our team at Aster Muwaileh Medical Centre in Sharjah. The role involves greeting patients, handling registrations, and assisting with insurance and billing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and greet patients, following a set checklist.
• Assist patients with registration and insurance form completion.
• Verify patient category (insured, corporate, HMO, general).
• Help patients complete all required documentation, including medical insurance.
• Identify patient issues and refer them to the appropriate doctor, consulting nurses when needed.
• Direct patients to the correct counter and provide assistance reaching it.
• Hand over patient registration cards.
• Provide first‑level problem solving and grievance handling.
• Maintain cordial patient relations and keep patients informed of delays.
• Ensure the reception area is neat, clean, and well‑maintained.
• Follow organisational protocols and standard procedures.
• Coordinate with the Insurance Coordinator for approvals and insurance‑related queries.
• Work with Symphony for insurance matters and verify coverage details.
• Receive patient files and enter details into the system.
• Verify insurance/benefit coverage, collect co‑pays, and process payments.
• Collect money from patients and handle back‑date billing for pending approvals.
• Call and follow up with patients regarding outstanding amounts.
