Customer Service Executive - Air Export

About the role

A customer-focused and detail-oriented Customer Service Executive is needed to manage air export shipments, coordinate with customers and internal teams, and ensure smooth and timely shipment handling. The role suits someone with experience in air freight operations, export documentation and customer communication within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.

Key responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries and give regular updates on air export shipments.
• Coordinate with the operations team, airlines and overseas agents for timely shipment processing.
• Prepare and verify export documentation such as shipping instructions, commercial invoices and packing lists.
• Monitor shipment status from booking to final departure and inform customers of delays.
• Coordinate cargo bookings, flight schedules and shipment requirements.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and air freight documentation procedures.
• Resolve customer complaints and operational issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and follow up on quotations and shipment confirmations.

Required profile

• 1-2 years of experience in air export customer service or freight forwarding.
• Good knowledge of air freight export procedures and documentation.
• Familiarity with UAE customs procedures and relevant shipping documentation.
• Excellent communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office and freight forwarding software.
