Customer User Researcher – Part‑Time Expert

About the role

We are partnering with a leading foundational AI lab to hire an experienced customer and user researcher who will help train a next‑generation language model on professional document, spreadsheet and slide‑deck tasks. The role is fully remote, part‑time and starts as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities

• Create, evaluate and refine AI‑generated documents, spreadsheets and slide decks for core workflows.
• Develop moderated usability test findings decks and synthesize customer interview data into thematic coding summaries.
• Design survey instruments, analyse results and produce write‑ups.
• Write discussion guides, screener criteria and tag research repositories.
• Produce journey‑map documents that translate research insights into product recommendations.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience conducting customer or user research (interviews, usability testing, surveys) with end‑to‑end ownership.
• Fluency in thematic coding methods, survey design/statistics and turning raw data into insight decks and journey maps.
• Expert‑level craftsmanship in documents, spreadsheets and slide presentations with strong written communication.
