About the role
The Cyber Security and Threat Monitoring Specialist works within the Security Operations Center (SOC) to protect the bank’s digital environment. The role focuses on monitoring security alerts, investigating incidents, and providing actionable threat intelligence to senior leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Perform SIEM alert triage and investigation using Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, and QRadar.
- Coordinate incident response activities following NIST SP 800‑61 best practices.
- Generate threat intelligence reports for the CISO and risk committees.
Required profile
- Hands‑on SOC experience (5‑8 years).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize alerts.
- Clear communication of findings to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Required skills
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar).
- Knowledge of NIST SP 800‑61 incident response framework.
- Experience in threat intelligence reporting.
