Cyber Security Manager

About the role

Aldar Estates is looking for a Cyber Security Manager to own end-to-end execution of entity-controlled cyber and SAFW requirements, reducing operational cyber risk across estates operations, IoT/OT environments and third-party ecosystems. The role aligns with the central SOC, security governance and architecture functions for enterprise consistency.

Key responsibilities

• Own risk-to-remediation closure for entity-controlled requirements, with named owner, target date and closure evidence, and approve local control actions within delegated thresholds
• Manage endpoint hardening, IoT/OT/robotics security, local network exposure and third-party security, including vendor onboarding and re-certification of privileged and remote access
• Maintain a risk-prioritized entity cyber roadmap, govern exception aging and compensating controls, and partner with the central SOC on detection, response and corrective actions
• Convert post-incident lessons into local control changes and improve MTTD/MTTR and repeat-incident rates
• Align delivery with central policy, architecture standards and assurance requirements, and support audits with traceable evidence

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• 10+ years of cyber security experience with leadership accountability in enterprise environments
• Demonstrated delivery across governance, operational risk reduction and cross-functional execution
• Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CRISC, GIAC (or equivalent)
