Data & AI Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Data & AI Engineer to design, build, and maintain data pipelines that power analytics and AI solutions. The role is based in Dubai and will collaborate closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable data platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines that ingest and transform data from multiple sources into data lakes and data marts.
• Apply data‑modelling standards such as dimensional models, star/snowflake schemas, and canonical data models to support reporting, analytics, and AI/ML use cases.
• Partner with data scientists, ML engineers, and analytics teams to enable ML/AI and LLM‑based solutions through reliable pipelines and feature stores.
• Enforce data‑governance, data‑quality, and metadata‑management practices across the platform.
• Work with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate data requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data and AI engineering or a similar role.
• Hands‑on experience with Snowflake, Databricks, and cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, or AWS.
• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and related languages.
• Knowledge of SAP HANA / SAP HANA Cloud data modelling, XS Engine, Calculation Views, SDI/SDA is a strong plus.
• Experience with Large Language Models, generative AI, and building agentic AI workflows using orchestration tools.
