Data Analyst and Banking Insights Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Data Analyst and Banking Insights Specialist to join the Command Unit of a leading bank in Abu Dhabi. You will work closely with senior leadership to turn large, complex banking data sets into actionable business insights that drive strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse large‑scale banking data covering customers, deposits, cards, lending, transactions, channels and operations.
• Identify trends, anomalies, risks and growth opportunities for senior management.
• Develop insight packs on customer acquisition, attrition, portfolio quality, product penetration and operational performance.
• Perform drill‑down and root‑cause analysis to explain movements in key business metrics.
• Create CXO‑level presentations and visualisations that clearly communicate the business story.
• Respond rapidly to ad‑hoc leadership queries with fact‑based answers.
• Collaborate with business, analytics, data engineering and technology teams to validate data sources and findings.

Required profile

• 4–7+ years of experience in data analysis within banking or financial services.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to senior leadership.
• Experience working with large, multi‑dimensional data sets.
• On‑site availability in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
